Laura Prejean

Laura joins Brigham Exploration from Northern Oil and Gas, Inc. where she spent over 4 years as a Landman managing non-operated assets across the Bakken, Permian, and Marcellus Basins. She served as the Permian Basin Landman during Northern’s initial entrance into the Delaware and additionally helped to oversee and develop land data systems and process automations across basins ensuring rapid asset integration for both ground game and large-scale acquisitions. She brings this experience to her position at Brigham where she is primarily focused on data oversight and land process buildouts. Prior to Northern, Laura worked as a Division Order Analyst at Palmares Energy, LP where she specialized in complex title chains in the Midland Basin. She is a Registered Professional Landman, an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, and a certified Division Order Analyst through Midland College.

Laura received a BS in Economics from the Honors College at the University of Houston and is a Teach for America alumna.
