Ryan has been an oil and gas land professional since 2008 working in various capacities throughout his career.  He began with Apache Corporation, and later joined Brigham Exploration’s Bakken land team in 2011.  Ryan joined Statoil following Brigham Exploration’s sale in late 2011 where he assumed roles of escalating seniority with experience in the Utica and Bakken.  The majority of his career as a landman has been focused on operated activities such as managing a drilling schedule, and optimizing company acreage positions.  In 2022, Ryan re-united with the Brigham team, gaining experience in both non operated leasehold and minerals acquisitions.

Ryan received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University, College Station, in May 2008.
